Onagawa Onsen Yupopo is a day-use onsen located inside Onagawa Station in Miyagi, designed by architect Shigeru Ban. Its alkaline waters, known as “bijin no yu” or “beauty baths,” are praised for their skin-softening effects. Facilities include indoor baths, rest areas, and an observation deck with views of Onagawa Bay.
The onsen is foreigner-friendly with affordable entry, simple ticketing, and English travel information. Tattoos are permitted only if fully covered in public baths.
